My kid is 6 and half years old. For the past two weeks she is suffering from frequent urination which was not there before. We took urine culture urine routine in which both came normal. I noticed she was telling her anal region was burning and paining where I noticed the area was red when I asked doctor he gave anovate cream to use it for 15 days. Other thing is she is straining not much but little while going motion for which doctor has given muout powder other than this he gave antibiotic for 5 days my question is does anal fissure cause frequent urination?? when will this problem resolve. I am giving her enough water I don't know what to do other than this.

Most likely culprit here is constipation. Please get the anal region checked up by a pediatric surgeon for anal fissures. Use lukewarm water and betadine for sitz bath at least thrice a day. Make sure child sits on potty after every meal. Also give laxopeg sachet- 1 sachet twice a day for at least a month after stopping muout, for constipation. If not relieved by these measures, then have to do further tests
