I'm suffering from Diabetes since 2 years and using Metformin hydrochloride Sustained Release tablet IP1000mg(Exermet 1000).Now I have started Metformin hydrochloride prolonged release tablet IP1000mg (zoform Sr1000).Does these medicines are same or have any difference.

not much difference in effects...
uSually sustained release have less GI upset compared to prolonged release ones..
its just pharmacokinetics...
if you are tolerating.. then just continue the same
