Messed up periods
My friend had sex with her bf she was not sure about pregnancy so she took an ipill. After that she has no bleeding whatsoever till now.. the tab was given on 15 at around 12.30 and all of this happened on 12th at around 3 pm...so it was also withing 72 hrs... her cycle is very messed up..it has to happen for 3..5 days.. but last time when she had it.. it was on 1 dec and just for 1 day and it was negligible. So she is just scared about being pregnant as this can be determined only when she gets a normal period, but considering her cycle condition she was not even expecting anything this month.. kindly advice what to do for being sure ?

Since she took iPill within 72 hours of intercourse, she is unlikely to become pregnant. However, it is not 100% safe. Do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.
If the result is negative, she is not pregnant and wait for 7 more days for her periods to come. If they still do not come then consult a gynaecologist for further evaluation and management. If the result is positive, she is pregnant and consult a gynaecologist for further evaluation and management.

Hello....... If you have missed period do urine pregnancy test, kit is available at medical shops, UPT test positive confirms pregnancy otherwise there could be some other reason.. Tablet was taken on 15th on sexual intercourse at 12 ,Even though it said to be taken within 72 hours, you should take it as soon as possible, failure chance is more with delay.. It's better to consult gynaecologist.
