Menstruation is delayed
I had unprotected sex with my Girlfriend on 16th February which was the 4th day of her periods. On the same evening she consumed an I pill too. Post the intercourse on 17th February also she had slight blood clots that were visible. 18th February the menstruation on its 6th day stopped completely. Now its 22nd March but her menstruation has not happened yet but she has lower abdomen cramps/pain for couple of days. Is it natural for menstruation to get delayed or should we get a strip test done. She is also presently on a medication of anti depressents Serlift 50 from 12th March as she was suffering from breathlessness and anxiety. Is there any chance of pregnancy and if it's there what's the way to prevent it.

Pregnancy is unlikely however you can get a urine pregnancy test done...also if she is on these medicines it is better that you use a condom rather than she taking emergency contraceptive pills from the next time

The periods have been delayed because of the intake of emergency contraception pill ... however there is definitely no harm in getting more assurance done by doing a urine pregnancy test by strip
