Menstruation
Hi Doctor, My wife had PCOD problem, so she was under medication for to get regular periods almost one year. Two months back she stopped medication and after that she is not getting her periods. Is it because of her hormonal imbalance because of stopping medication or because of pregnancy ? We checked three times on pregnancy kit , it was negative all the times. Can you please suggest how to proceed with this issue. Thanks in advance doctor.

One thing is very clear that PCOD is not a disease, it is a Syndrome affecting many systems of body, usually due to life style (It includes stress, diet habits sleeping and getting up time, preservatives and pesticides, lack of exercise and yoga, overweight etc. Therefore cycles of menstruation remains regular temporary till you take oral contraceptive. As soon as you leave it cycles will become irregular. For permanent betterment, no cure, one has to be stress free, within limits of weight for said age and height, Healthy food without preservatives and pesticides, yoga, exercise, harmony etc.
