In the 5th week of pregnancy is that normal to have menstrual pain but no spottings or bleeding only pain in the abdomen area its pains same like pain during periods the pain that comes and goes my pregnancy test is also positive but why the menstrual pain is that normal during pregnancy??

Some amount of pain is definitely experienced in early pregnancy.. however it is advisable to get an ultrasound done to check for fetal viability and t0 rule out any other cause of pain.
