My daughter s fifth day of periods she had protected sex with her husband on 30th March she had unwanted 72 on 1st April and got her periods again on 3rd April she had not got her periods yet Today is 17th May we had done testing with preganews several times but it was tested negative as she don't want to be pregnant now please suggest it's delayed periods or is their some other issues please suggest in lots of tension

It is a known complication with unwanted/ipill that there can be irregular bleeding/menses. U can do a serum beta hcg test, it is more sensitive than urine test. if it's negative, she's not pregnant.

In order to confirm it is pregnancy or not, an ultrasound is needed. Along with beta HCG, for delayed menstrual issue, you need to wait for atleast a week or more, consult for any hormonal changes from gynecologist, they might suggest OCP for it

Sometimes periods get delayed due to hormonal changes as well if repeatedly the test has been negative you can wait for 15 days more orelse then go for a ultrasound after 15 days and consult a gynecologist for further treatment

After unwanted 72 sometimes hormonal changes got regular period late. Get a bhcg test done to clear doubt about pregnancy and if comes out to b positive then consult a gynecologist for futhur management
