Menopause ending trouble
My mother is 52 yrs of age ...now she had a lot of menstrual bleeding last year and we consulted a gyneacian and they diagnosed endometriasis.which is thickening of wall of uterus as they told us. Which is i beleive not normal at this stage.. Every month she gets periods though not heavy bleeding but yet she gets it and she takes trappic mf rablets..because if she doesnt it tends to increase after 2-3 days..if she takes in first day itself bleeding stops by 5-6 days. Since one year she has been taking it..and the dr says just take the tablet you should worry if you have heavy bleeding.i am looking for second opinion if this platform could help ill be happy. Now she is worried since she is diagnosed with endometriosis ...she suggested next step will be dnc then decide what course of treatment to go for...please suggest if endometriasis is a serious condition and what treatment modalities can be taken...she has thyroid and she is taking calcium suppliments..no diabetes. Thank you.
