Medicine for painful period cramps

Asked for Female, 24 Years

I have been suffering from menstrual cramps from many years. I never took medicine because i thought taking painkillers every month will effect my kidneys. But now i can't bear this pain anymore.Pain happenes on first day of periods and remain for one day only but I am not able to do any work on that day. Please prescribe better medicine which i can take every month. P.S- My periods always come on time and flow is normal.
