Asked for Female, 27 Years

Is it okay to give 200 mg vildagliptin,1000 mg metformin HCL and 4 mg twice a day to a diabetic patient having 230 sugar level after meal and 140 fasting? As i read somewhere that only 100 mg vildagliptin per day is recommended.
