Medicine advice
Hello, my mother 55 is diabetic. She recently had high crp n esr level for which doc prescribed medrol(4mg) for 10 days. The crp n esr level didn't come down so he has again prescribed medrol(8mg) for 5 more days. Her blood sugar level is normal. Is it safe to continue medrol (8mg) for 5 more days as it is a steroid?

Steroids can increase sugar levels. But they can be used if the treating physician felt the need to start.
