Medical termination of pregnancy

Asked for Female, 30 Years

Hi, I was on 7.5 weeks and went for an ultrasound the baby heart beat was stopped. I had an early ultrasound on 6 weeks which shows baby heartbeat was 108 pm. Is this possible that heartbeat can be stopped after 10 days. Doctor told about the chromosonal defects which causes this , is there any other reason ? I had to medically terminate the pregnancy as there was no cardiac activity at 7.5 weeks.

U cn send ur products of conception for karyotype to rule out chromosomal anomalies. Also idiopathic causes , intrauterine infections cn also be the cause of the same.
