Measurement of My tmj treatment
During my final phase treatment of tmd through braces I am very much confused... Because my bite is very much unstable, my jaw is out of alignment, my muscles are tight and I think my lower row of teeth are being touched with corresponding upper teeth but very slowly and very uncomfortably. But one thing is sure i.e. gradually I can chew more comfortably than before. What do you think, am I improving? How can I measure or judge about my improvement or disprovement? Will activities like running, talking too much, or laughing etc. affect my tmj problem? Please help.

Hi The improvement in tmj treatment is judged depends on the tmd disorder and type of treatment you are undergoing...usually there will be mild discomfort only during the phase of treatment....complete clinical and radiological examination of tmj should be done
Next Steps
kindly visit dentist for further clinical examination and management
