Maryland bridges are resin bonded fixed partial dentures, these are usually suitable for anterior teeth as they bear a limited amount of pressure, exceeding which may lead to its dislodgement or fracture . Choosing these to replace premolars is not so good option as premolars bear excessive biting pressure and the bridge therefore might come out within a week or so .

Hi. It depends on how you maintain it,what kinda food you eat from that side(soft or hard),it cannot withstand heavy forces,it will weaken your adjacent tooth as well. How you maintain your oral hygiene play a key role as well. It's not a wise decision to go with it
