Marfan syndrome and pregnancy
I'm 24 years old... I'm 3 months pregnant... I'm a marfan syndrome patient.. But not severe... I don't want to take any treatments pr medicines... The only thing is I'm heavy myopic and tall... I don't have any heart problems till now...but I'm afraid that my child may also cause this... Can i prevent my child being a marfan syndrome patient? Through prenatal diagnosis..?? Can i prevent this disease???

Prenatal diagnosis is available after 12 weeks of pregnancy. You cannot prevent the disease but only do prenatal diagnosis. Contact a obstetrician
