My 4 years old daughter was bitten with a tick few months ago and diagnosed with rickettsia (high grade fever rash..) and she took a josamycin antibiotic for 2 weeks and she become fine after few weeks.
Today she got a high grade fever for more than 12 hours and a knee pain with no reason! I suspect that maybe the tick bite transfer Lyme disease and rickettsia as a coinfection and as you know Lyme disease took sometime months to appear.
What do you think and suggest?
