LVEF 30-42%
Hello Doctors, My father had angioplasty in 2018 and placed 2 stents, in 2020 his LVEF was 60%. In Dec 2025 and Feb 2026 we checked 2D echo in 2 hospitals one showed 30% and other 42%. Now I went for another opinion where LVEF was 40% , doctor also looked at holter patch readings placed for 24 hours and said AICD / packemaker not needed but angiogram is needed to understand the reduction in LVEF, kindly suggest what should be our next actions ? Can't this be treated with medications?

LVEF after angioplasty was normal . Now it’s reduced . Needs coronary angiogram the evaluate the cause of reduction in EF. Further treatment will be based on the results of coronary angiogram.
