Low platelet count in machine
I did CBC in everymonth .... everything is normal .then I suffered fatty liver n I changed my diet.after few days my platelet count is constantly low in CBC analyser.i have no symptoms...then my pathologist performed a manual count and pb smear test .in that test manual count is 2.8 and normal smear test also .bt in machine reading my platelet count showing always low .my pathologist say mine platelet size increases that's why machine not detecting.my question is what suddenly my platelet size is increased.

Hi some times due to infection u can have giant platelets
U have to check after a few days to check wether still u are having that giant platelets and low platelet count on machine.
Also please tell if u are having any symptoms of bleeding like bloody or dark coloured stools, epistaxis; bleeding gums, red colored rash or spots over the skin.
If the platelets size remains same evan after 1 month , u have to meet a hematologist
