Low amniotic fluid

Asked for Female, 28 Years

My wife is under 20 weeks of pregnancy a 3d ultrasound was done yesterday, everything besides amniotic fluid was found normal. ACC to DVP amniotic fluid was found 3.5 CM. Which was mentioned as QUANTITY OF LIQUOR IS SCANTY DVP 3.5 CM. Dr says it's a harsh condition and IUD may be done. Plz give best suggestions so that my baby may continue.

If you are saying that the total liquor or AFI was 3.5 then its definitely less.. However its usually associated with a reason. Get an ultrasound repeated from a centre who has a 4D ultrasound machine.. Initiate a direct consult for further discussion regarding same.
