Keep sipping ORS or lemon water with salt and sugar (as you did) to avoid dehydration
Eat light food like khichdi, curd rice, or plain toast
Avoid milk, oily, spicy, or street food for now
You can take racecadotril (anti-secretory) and paracetamol (for pain/fever if present)
If there's cramping, mefenamic acid or drotaverine helps
Avoid antibiotics unless stools are very frequent, bloody, or if there's fever
• If symptoms persist beyond 24–48 hours, or worsen (e.g., vomiting, high fever, blood in stool, weakness), a stool test and further treatment may be needed.
