Loose motiins for the past 1 week

I have a past history of ulcerative collatis but recently I have been passing watery stools in the beginning followed by medium stools. Now since last night I had loose motions for almost 5 times and feel week.Trying to fix appointment with some senior gastroendologist but appointment are full. Please suggest approprite6 medicine to control this loose motions keeping in mind my ulcertaive collatis problem Thank you

Hello It looks like an exacerbation of ulcerative colitis. I would suggest you to start antibiotics - Tab Ornidazole+Ofloxacin twice daily for 5 days. If you are on Mesacol 1.2 gm make it thrice daily along with Folvite 5 mg. Take ORS and lots of liquids. You need ESR and CRP at the time of going to your Gastroenterolist. Take care.
