Long use of steroids after prk
I have high myopia -7.5 and -8 and had prk surgery on dec 13th 2025 but my doctor told me I need to use steroids minimum 6 months So far I have used the below lotepred 0.5% -  4*day for first week and 3*day for next 5 weeks then 2*day for the next 3 months Iotim 0.5% - using from past 3 weeks and need to use until steroids completed 2*day Can anyone explain to me if this schedule is normal or anything that needs to be changed or something or used necessary. So that I will make further decisions

Doesn’t look out of course. If you have doubts best to discuss with the surgeon who did PRK as they know your case fully and have examined you personally

Good afternoon sir Lotepred is usually used post prk in tapering dose.  Iotim is used if your eye pressure is high due to prolonged use of steroids
