Long use of steroids after prk
I have high myopia -7.5 and -8 and had prk surgery on dec 13th 2025 but my doctor told me I need to use steroids minimum 6 months
So far I have used the below
lotepred 0.5% - 4*day for first week and 3*day for next 5 weeks then 2*day for the next 3 months
Iotim 0.5% - using from past 3 weeks and need to use until steroids completed 2*day
Can anyone explain to me if this schedule is normal or anything that needs to be changed or something or used necessary. So that I will make further decisions

Lotepred is usually used post prk in tapering dose.
Iotim is used if your eye pressure is high due to prolonged use of steroids
