If closure is not done by stitches ,healing take place by secondary intention which can result in fibrosis ,which is just a normal physiological body repair process and can feel like a hard raised lump till it becomes normal which can take few more weeks to remodel. No harm in getting it evaluated to ease your mind though ,also make sure no foriegn body .

Hi, Visit your dentist and get a clinical examination of your lip. If no abnormality seen, it will take about 6 months for a hard area to feel normal again. Share picture.
