Leg pain at night
My mother(56yrs - 5ft - 67kgs)(Diabetes + High BP) is complaining about leg pain recently(no joint pain). It starts at night and makes her feel restless. The pain goes away if she takes painkillers, but it comes back after 2-3 days. She is going through this condition since past one year or so, but it was mild to moderate till now. Our family physician prescribed a painkiller eversince and she is taking it whenever the pain is intolerable. Her condition was moderate till date, but recently (since last 2-3 weeks) her sleep is getting disturbed occassionally due to the pain. The pain is not noticeable when she is active. Mostly it bothers while resting or sleeping at night. What should we do? Which doctor is best for this kind of condition? Is there anything we can do at home?
