My wife has taken Cabgolin 0.5 first in this week due to high level prolactin (33.6).we have no baby still now. But the main thing is that she is feeling only left side breast muscle pain since last 5-6 days (just day after of first dose of Cabgolin 0.5) and still now when it is pressed by fingertip. There is no lump or discolour or any discharge from nipple. Sometimes she is feeling breast is throbbing from inside. Please suggest me why she is feeling like this? How can she decrease this pain? Is this any side effect of medicine? Thanks in advance 🙏

The medicine will not cause pain like that
And especially because the pain is on the left side only it is better to examine your wife before giving any medication

Non specific
If very discomforting u can consult and get examination done
Mammography if adviced
Could be pain from ribs
U can speed up treatment based on years of marriage
Please let me know her prolactin level. You can stop canaholin for a week and check if pain goes away as having throbbing pain is not a good symptom . Normally you don’t get this side effect.
It is a non-specific pain and will subside slowly on its own. If you are so much in doubt you can get one ultrasound breast done. Cabergoline usually doesn’t cause that sort of pain and such side-effects.
