Left ovary shows a cyst
I am 29 yrs old and 6 weeks pregnant. As per my latest ultrasound report, "left ovary shows a cyst measuring 4.4 x 3.4 cm with no septa or mural nodule".
I have consulted 2 Gynaecologists, one said I should take 2 weeks bed rest and take medicines and other one said no need of medication and bed rest required until cyst size reached 5 cm or more.
So I am confused whether I need to take medicine or not as I don't want any medication in my first trimester until not needed.

Hello..
Well I don't think any medication is required as its still smaller size and might get resolved on its own too...we shall see it in the next follow up scan...if we need to see then we shall see next time... please follow advice as per your obstetrician... thank you

You need to take progesterone supplements to prevent abortion. No harm in taking these supplements and folic acid supplements also. Bed rest will make no difference.
