Late period, not pregnant
I am 22 years old, did my first pap smear on March 15th (it was painful and I was nervous) I started bleeding and spotting a couple hours after, the bleeding went on for about a week(I felt like I was on my period!) couple days past and everything was normal. my real period was supposed to start on March 28th and nothing... but I am having real period cramps, just no bleeding. it is now april 1st and I've already taken a pregnancy test and it is negative. whay could this be??

it may occur in women who have anemia i.e low haemoglobin levels, diabetes or thyroid problems. It is also common in women with high levels of a protein called prolactin in their blood...it can be the side effects of certain drugs like oral contraceptives,antipsychotics,antiepileptics...it may be due to poly cystic ovarian disease as well... So I would suggest you to consult nearest gynecologists for detailed clinical examination and evaluation they will do the needful.
