Latching difficulties
Hi, My daughter is 26 days old and still doesn't latch. I am giving her pumped breast milk through bottle. Please help on this. Have tried a lot but she cries while I try to breast feed her.

Care AI Shimmer
26 days and not latching , she should have learnt by now 1. May be your and babies position while feeding may not to correct. 2.wanted to know in detail , whether you have any short/retracted nipples. 3 .once you start giving expressed milk in bottle, baby will be more comfortable drinking expressed milk in bottle, rather than sucking on breast.
Next Steps
can consult lactational councillor/ paediatrian to assess feeding and further management.
Health Tips
exclusive breastfeeding, try to correct position, try feeding on breast first and then express and give. adequate burping.
