I have been wearing glasses for 16 years now. I have used contact lenses for just 2 months that too occasionally. My current power is attached in the picture below.
I wish to know if I'll be eligible for the surgery that I plan to take post 3 years of my remaining education.
Also, pls suggest the best way to take care of vision so that it doesn't increase any further than this as I don't want to go for the option that puts an artificial lense in the eyes.
Thanks in advance:)

Hi ..
Number is slightly on the higher side .A detailed checkup is needed to see if u r fit for lasik.if corneal thickeners is good, definitely yes, else other options also possible .
As u re already 24, good time to opt rather than wait..as u will enjoy th benefit for more years .
When you are 40 plus , u will require some reading number , so go for it now.
Maintain general health, food , hydration n good habits which everyone is aware of...good for eyes also

Dear patient,
Whether you can go for lasik or no depends on your number when you are above 18 or 18. It also depends on a topography test, corneal thickness. Ideally ICL treatment would be great for removal of spectacles which you're not wanting to do . Its a safe treatment but if lasik is the only option for you then we will have to take a call again when you're 18 and decide
Next Steps
Stay health and take less stress.
yearly dilated retina check up mandatory.
Health Tips
retina check up and please consider ICL treatment.
Number can increase till 20-21 years of age. Can t stop it from increasing
Only once you number stabilises a doctor can day for sure if you are eligible for Lasik
