Hi doc. I'm 22 yr old and my eye sight is 4.5 in the left eye and 5 in the right far sightedness. I want to go for lasik. I've read many articles and all this information is making me terrified. I need independent opinion it would be great if you can help me.

Hello A. There is nothing to worry....LASIK is a very safe and quick procedure B. I myself underwent LASIK long back and I am doing well ...now I myself help others tonget rid of Glasses by doing LASIK on them ....this will probably give you some assurance. C. Yes...there are some complications associated with LASIK but those are rare... How many times you got food poisoning after eating food? Rarely ....I suppose... Did that incident stopped you from eating? I suppose NO So...don't worry Please feel free to contact me anytime...I would be happy to help you
