Kid throat infection recurring fever
Son4 year. Got infected due to chilled cold drink .. fever every 6 hours . Reports normal on dengue, malaria. Mefanorm with Crocin on . Fever still persists every 6 hours . Situation same since last 4 days.

Nothing to do with chilled cold drink!! Most fevers in children are viral in origin and take 3-7 days to subside completely. If not accompanied by any other symptoms like vomiting or loose motions or coughing and breathlessness or dullness and refusal to feed,just give paracetamol for fever and repeat every 4 hours if required.
