Kid Red eye 5 days after chicken pox

My son habing red eye since morning.he is suffering from chicken pox since 5 days and dr gave zertex and calamine lotion.no fever but itching and red eye..kindly tell me does it harmful having red eye during chicken pox now or later in life??
