Keto diet for Diabetic
I am type 2 diebetic, HB1AC = 5, On medicine - Jalra 50/500 twice a day. I am a bit overweight (height 5'11, weight 92kgs) Is it safe to do a keto diet to reduce weight? Its a high protein high fat diet with no carbs. Appreciate your guidance.

In diabetes prolonged fasting and doing keto diet is not recommended. As Ketone bodies are not good for health. Carbs are required for the body for daily quantities. So instead it better to have balanced diet and have regular exercise which will help reduce weight and reverse diabetes as well.
