Jitreness in new born baby
My baby is now 8days old from day 3 she is shaking  her legs and hands. Here local doctor told it's because of calcium deficiency and gave syrup by then also it's not under control. Now wat can we do

You can wait and that will not cause problem ,continue the vit d3 syrup and calcium ,wait for response if not please physically examination should be done.

Iam a Pediatric Neurologist. In my opinion this could be normal jitteriness due to Low calcium or magnesium, but it might be a seizures as well. Need to evaluate.

It may be jitteriness.. involuntary tremor like movement common in neonates.. But have to differentiate from seizures.. It may due to calcium deficiency vit d or hypoglycemia.. Better to consult physically

If it stop by hands then it might be due to calcium and magnesium deficiency But if doesn’t stop by stoop by hands then it might be clonic normally so plz consult physically for further examination and evaluation
