Iv site complication
Saline drip 7 days ago (for about 24 hr). The iv was in L forearm (underneath side) about 3 inches down from elbow bend. No problems until the next day I noticed redness and swelling running down my forearm to my hand. There is a small knot about 1in above the site but the pain down arm is awful. Redness is gone & on antibiotic for unrelated issue
