IUI And on Susten400mg and yet to get p

Question

Asked for Female, 27 Years

Hello Doctor.. I have undergone IUI on 24th and 25th of Aug... Doctor told that ovulation has happend on 25th... She has given Susten400mg tablet from 26th aug to 9th Sep and asked me to do urin pregnancy test on 10th Sep... I did test on 11th Sep and it was negative... But still I did not get my periods... what it means? Please help...

Did you have problem of irregular periods before as well? If not, wait for a week, repeat your pregnancy test. Sometimes apart from iui pregnancy can be because of intercourse post iui as well. Keep taking susten and folic acid. If after one week pregnancy test is negative, meet your doctor to see if medicine for withdrawal bleeding need to be given and further iui cycles need to be planned.
