It's understandable to be concerned about your symptoms, but I want to reassure you that Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is generally considered a less likely possibility based on what you've described. GBS typically presents with more pronounced weakness and progression over a short period, often starting in the legs and moving upward. Your symptoms, such as tingling and numbness, could arise from various other causes, including nerve compression, anxiety, or even muscle strain, which are more common. However, it's still important to have a thorough evaluation to rule out any underlying issues and address your symptoms appropriately. I recommend scheduling an appointment for a comprehensive assessment. If symptoms worsen, such as significant weakness or difficulty breathing, please seek immediate medical attention. Dr. K.
