Is this pregnancy?
I had unprotected sex on 29th April and took i-Pill the same day. My last menstrual period (LMP) started on 14th April. Today, 14th May, I started bleeding and it feels like my periods may have started. However, I took a home pregnancy test which showed a faint second line, so I did a beta-hCG blood test today and the result is 17.90 mIU/mL. I also have PCOD. Can you please tell me if this indicates pregnancy, a chemical pregnancy, or just hormonal changes due to i-Pill?

this is very early or low levels of HCG. Ideal to repeat the test in 48 hours. Since your periods have started already, it could be a chemical pregnancy. However advisable to follow HCG till negative result. I Pill is not 100% effective in preventing pregnancy, specially if ovulation has already happened. consult for regular contracpetive advise
