Is it Safe to travel ?
PROFILE Age: 29 years Pregnancy Week : 21 First preganancy Working from home since March Any issue: 1.  Deficient  in Vitamin D (4.5) 2. Low Lying Placenta observed in 21 week TIFFA scan No bleeding no diabetes no other issue MEDICATION 1. Used to walk daily evening for 20 min till 21 week discovered low lying placenta issue 2. Tako60k once a week since last 6 weeks. Will continue for 6 more weeks 3. Iron (folic) tablets one per day since mid march 4. Calcium tablets one per day since last 6 weeks 5. Walk/sit in sunlight daily since last 6 weeks No other exercise except cooking food QUESTION 1. I am planning to travel to my hometown for my delivery in AC1 train coach (23 hour ) journey. Is it safe ? 2. Shall I continue to work on desk by sitting on an ergonomic chair ? I was advised bed rest after low lying placenta. 3. Any nutrition advice ? ( I can eat non veg but avoiding meat due to corona)

Hi. Avoid long travel till 28 weeks . If the placenta is not low lying then you can travel at that time .

No need for bed rest of placenta just low lying and no bleeding. Just no rigorous activity. Can work from home. Re travel cannot opine without examination and knowing full sono report
