Is it normal? Should I worry?
I am 26 years old. I can fully retract my foreskin when the penis is not erect, but during erection I can only pull it back partially because it feels tight. I do not have pain during masturbation and there is no bleeding or tearing. Around 5 years ago, a urologist examined my penis when it was not erect and did not mention any serious issue; he only advised cleaning the white buildup under the foreskin. Is my current condition normal, or could it be mild phimosis/tight foreskin? Will this cause problems during sex, and should any treatment be considered?

This may represent a mild tight foreskin (mild phimosis). If there is no pain, tearing, or difficulty during sex, treatment may not be necessary, but an examination by a urologist can confirm the diagnosis and discuss options if needed.

What you are describing sounds more consistent with a mild tight foreskin condition rather than severe Phimosis. Since you are able to retract the foreskin completely in the flaccid state, and you are not experiencing pain, bleeding, tearing, or cracking during masturbation, it suggests that the tightness is probably mild and the foreskin still has reasonable elasticity. Many men have slightly tighter foreskin during erection because the penile skin stretches differently when erect. The important concern is whether the foreskin can move comfortably without causing pain, trapping behind the glans, tearing, swelling, or difficulty during intercourse. Since your earlier urologist examination did not identify any major problem and mainly advised hygiene for smegma buildup, that is also somewhat reassuring. However, if the foreskin feels significantly tight only during erection and does not comfortably glide back, it may still represent mild phimotic tightness or a tight frenular/foreskin ring. In some men this remains stable without causing major issues, while in others it may gradually lead to discomfort during intercourse due to increased friction.
