Is HRCT safe
My father, age 51 is a post liver transplant patient. In February he was found to have infected with aspergillus. In diagnosis he went through a contrast CT which did not give much details and therefore bronchoscopy was done in which galactomanan test for aspergillus was +ve.
Now to know that if the fungus problem is still there, doctor is suggesting for HRCT.
Is HRCT safe since I heard that frequent CT scans are hazardous? Isn't bronchoscopy a better option to diagnose the issue?
Please guide me.

What medications were advised for aspergillosis infection
If he already gone through contrast CT scan there is no need to repeat HRCT within three months
Aspergillus infection is usually treated for a long period of time answer follow back seat in may be required
