It is not a contraceptive pill it is one of the component of a contraceptive pill. the purpose of giving this tablet is to make the uterus relaxed and it helps in growing up the baby and it doesn't allow abortions and it give support for the baby to grow life and it is essential in your case as well so I can continue taking the medicine as far as your doctor has been advised you

Its contains synthetic progesterone hormone. Progesterone is a hormone which maintains the pregnancy. In case of recurrent miscarriages it is given from outside for support and prevent miscarriage.  So dont worry. It's safe and trust your doctor.
