Is g6pd & jaundice interrelated
My baby is just 18 days g6pd deficient and also his billirubin is rising we have given phototherapy at the time of birth then his level came down to 9.5 and again gave photheraphy on 21st June when his billirubin was 15 after that on 23rd June it cam down to 9 and we got discharged and today 27 th June again did billirubin again his level is more than 10 . Can you please help me how this can be cured why his billirubin levels are rising again and again I m bit worried. How long will this take to cure.

High bilirubin is due to g6pd If it is not increasing rapidly and baby is feeding well then 10 is not worrisome at 18 days of age U have to repeat bilirubin in 24-36 hours to see if it is increasing
