Irregularity in periods

Asked for Female, 25 Years

I hv periods every month but this month flow is not like earlier.. Flow is very slow or u say irregular.. Earlier my periods was for 6 days.. Bt this month 8th day going on.. Please tell me why this is happening... I am unmarried...

If ovulation does not occur in a particular cycle, then periods may be delayed or scanty. If you are not sexually active, then wait for 2-3 days for bleeding to stop. It should stop on its own. If not, to an ultrasound and see a gynecologist
