I have the rod as my contraception. I've had it for about 4 years now (getting it changed at the 3 year mark). Ever since I got it I've been that woman that has sporadic periods. I've been able to handle it pretty okay but for the last month its just been non stop and insanely heavy. Like I wake up and my bed sheets are covered in blood. Its not fun and I really need something to help regulate my period but still keep the rod in.
