Asked for Female, 27 Years

I am 27 years old.I had taken dronis 20 for the last 7 months and now i stopped it.In these months i observed sudden increase i my weight from 53 kg to 58 kg and always felt my stomach bloated.Doctor suggest me this tablet to regulate my periods and to avoid unwanted pregnancy.Should I continue this to avoid pregnancy? Is there any sideeffects of this medicine in future?
