Regestrone is to be taken for 5 days, two times a day, after food. Irregular periods need a diagnosis, which in most cases is pcod. It can also be due to irregular hormones. Thyroid and prolactin hormone imbalance can also cause irregular menses.
A complete evaluation is needed to pin point the diagnosis and treat it accordingly.
Looking at your height and weight, your BMI is 32
Which is again on the obese side.
In pcod related hormonal imbalance, extra imbalance can be generated in the fat cells also.
So there is a possibility that along with medicines you will also need a strict diet and exercise plan.
