Irregular periods
Am 26 years old unmarried. My weight is also kind off balanced. For the past 6 months am facing irregular periods. My menstrual cycle used to be 28 days but these days it's 32/ 34 or depends. Also first 2 days I find only spotting then bleeding for 2 days and then stops. I consulted a gynaecologist and after conducting pregnancy test, PCOS, thyroid, haemoglobin she said everything seems to be fine and prescribed vitamin tablets for a month but no use. What could be the reason?

Hi there...may occur in women who have anemia i.e low haemoglobin levels, diabetes or thyroid problems. It is also common in women with high levels of a protein called prolactin in their blood...it can be the side effects of certain drugs like oral contraceptives,antipsychotics,antiepileptics...consult nearest gynecologists for detailed clinical examination and evaluation they will do the needful.
