Irregular Period

Asked for Female, 20 Years

I am in a relationship, I use protection each time to make sure that nothing happens. The past 30 days I have been taking Thyroxine for an underactive thyroid gland. Also I am a bit forgetful, sometimes I forget to take it. I was wondering how it could effect my cycle because I do not wish to be pregnant and I have been very careful, recently I have had an abortion and it would just be terrible if i had to go through this again.
