Irregular, long lasting periods.

Asked for Female, 17 Years

I've started taking the POP contraceptive and ever since starting my periods have lasted up to two weeks with heavy flow, and have now started again just 11 days after finishing my last one. I've never had irregular periods before and they used to usually last up to 5/6 days. Should I be worried?
